September 2020

We are excited about returning and look forward to welcoming our new starters and their families to Busy Bees and having our Nursery children join us upstairs. We have implemented thorough Covid- 19 operating procedures to include ‘fogging’ the rooms before use and temperature taking of both children and staff. We have planned an exciting half term with activities around favourite things and journeys.

Open for key worker’s children

We are still open for the children of our key workers. Please phone or email if you are interested in joining us in September🐝 We are missing Busy Bees and the team have put together a video for all our families – past, present and future💖 It is available to view on YouTube under the heading ‘Hello from us all at Busy Bees Marshalswick’

Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ 2010, 2015 and now 2020!

We are delighted to have been graded as outstanding in all areas. We are particularly pleased with the emphasis on our highly qualified and experienced team who ensure that all children “are challenged in their learning and make excellent progress.” The very high priority we place on language development was highlighted and our mindful approach supports children having “exceptionally high levels of concentration.”

Happy New Year! We have lots of exciting activities planned for 2020. It is the Chinese Year of the Rat and the children will be discovering what year they were born in. Autumn Term

Over the summer, we updated our outside boards with scenes to promote children’s phonological awareness through engaging with books, reciting rhymes, increasing word knowledge and developing dialogue through a ‘Tell me…approach. All essential skills for children’s future reading success! We have a range of new books to share and are looking forward to an exciting Autumn term.
