Please see below for all upcoming events celebrating Christmas at Busy Bees Marshalswick. If you have any queries regarding any event please speak to a member of staff.
Friday 14th December – Christmas Concert
This will take place in the church starting at 9.30am. The doors at the front of the church will be open from 9.20am. Please could you bring children who do not attend Busy Bees on a Friday in for registration at 9.15am.
Pre-school Costumes
We suggest that you dress your children as fairies/angels or as elves/ pixies wearing white, red or green clothing decorated with tinsel.
Nursery Costumes
You have already been advised about costumes for your children but, if you have any queries, please speak to Jane or a member of the nursery team.
Christmas Raffle
Every year we have a Christmas raffle where we raffle food hampers and assorted food produce and drink. Please could you donate food/drink (there will be a list on the notice board) for the Christmas hampers. The raffle will be drawn at the end of our tea/coffee morning. Tickets will be on sale at the coffee morning and throughout the previous week!
Monday 17th December – Christmas Coffee Morning
This will take place in the upper hall from 11am. All parents and carers are welcome. Donations of mince pies, cakes and biscuits for the coffee morning (and offers of help on this morning) will be appreciated.
Wednesday 19th December – Christmas Party
This will take place during the usual session times (9.15am – 12.15am). Father Christmas will be arriving at 11.30am in the upper hall. Parents and carers are welcome at this time to watch the children receive their presents. Parents of children who do not usually attend on a Wednesday should ensure that they have booked their child in for the party. Please see a member of staff if you still need to do this.
Extended/Afternoon Session – Friday 14th December
This session will be running as usual for those children who are already booked into Friday sessions. If you choose to take your child home after the party and Father Christmas’ visit, please let either Caroline or Jane know otherwise we will assume that they will be staying for an afternoon of festive activities.
Lunch Club – Wednesday 19th December
This session will be running as usual. If you have already booked your child in and choose to take them home after the concert please let Caroline or Jane know.
