We are open Mondays to Fridays, during term time, from 9.15am – 12.15pm. Lunch club operates every day from 12.15-1.00pm and we have a daily afternoon club until 3pm. Parents/carers need to provide their children with a suitable packed lunch (please no products containing nuts), and ensure there is a place for their child before leaving them. Places can be pre-booked. Payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. We also offer an early 8.45am start which is available every morning and costs £6.

We are open every day until 3.00pm. During the afternoon sessions we will consolidate and extend the children’s knowledge and skills gained from the activities and themes they have experienced in both the Preschool and Nursery. These sessions are offered inside and outside.
Children from both our Preschool and Nursery are welcome to attend early club, lunch club and the afternoon sessions.
Current fees are £24 a session. There is government funding available the term after your child is 3, (from the age of 2 for low income families). Lunch club and early club is £6 a session. Afternoon sessions from 1.00pm are £14.
Fees are due in the first week of each half term. Payment for lunch clubs and afternoon sessions can be added to fees, but we ask parents and carers to please show the breakdown of their payment. Fees can be paid directly into the Busy Bees bank account. The sort code is 207409, the account number is 93640272 and account name is Busy Bees (Marshalswick) Ltd. We also accept childcare vouchers and are currently registered with Care 4 (78909081), Edenred (P522022), Busy Bees (00029342), Faircare (BBMA0311), Sodexo (804386) and Computershare Vouchers (0008112031). To register with a new voucher provider, parents and carers need to provide our Ofsted number which is EY343615. When paying by bank transfer or vouchers, we ask parents and carers to please ensure that their child’s name is used as a reference.
Funding is available the term after your child is three. Children with birthdays between 1st September and 31st December will receive funding in the Spring Term. Children with birthdays between 1st January and 31st March are entitled to funding in the Summer Term. With funding, children receive 15 hours of funded care and education and can use lunch clubs and afternoon session as part of their entitlement.
Children and their parents and carers need to visit us before they apply for a place. We suggest 9.30am as a good time to come in and we try to accommodate families and carers preferences for days to visit. We recommend an initial visit time of about 45 minutes.

It is likely that we will only have one intake of children starting in the Preschool due to changes in the school intake. We will offer places in September to children with birthdays in the academic year from September to August. These places will be offered in waiting list order. We recommend that our Preschool children start with three morning sessions, since experience has shown us that children settle much better when attending three days. It is also unlikely that there will be many additional morning sessions available throughout the year to add to current sessions, though there is flexibility in adding lunch clubs and afternoon sessions.
