Busy Bees Marshalswick is fortunate to occupy a great space over two floors in church halls. There is ample space for a wide range of exciting and diverse resources and experiences.

Our preschool (2 and 3 year olds) extends through two rooms on the ground floor where we have access to a large secure outdoor play area. We have access to a kitchen to provide healthy snacks and drinks. With toilet and changing facilities adjacent to the mail room.

Everyone in the staff team is very experienced and continue to develop their knowledge of child development while keeping informed of new initiatives and teaching styles. Our practice includes modelling social skills and developing children’s independence though appropriate language, peer friendships and a loving kind environment.

Our Nursey (3 and4 year olds) is on the upper floor and is a bright spacious environment where learning continues preparing children for school. A wide range of toys, learning resources and creative teaching gives each child the opportunity to reach their potential. Activities and learning are tailored to meet the EYFS curriculum as well as children’s interests and abilities. Always treating each child as an individual, the nursery is a fun and stimulating place. The staff team are fully qualified to degree level including teacher status.

We utilise the skills of our trained special needs coordinator- SENCO to ensure any concerns are dealt with promptly. We have extensive links with local specialists who can advise the best way forward if there are concerns on a child’s health or development. Our experienced team ensures that there are channels of communication to advise and reassure any concerns. Our SENCO is available for all the children preschool and nursery.
